📢 New Feature Alert: Wetlands Layer Added to the Map
Feature Release
Wetlands Made Visible Inside Zamplo Map
One of the most requested map features is officially here!
The Wetlands Overlay is now live in Zamplo for all Basic plans and above. If you are already on one of those plans, it is available in your account right now. If you are on Starter and want access, reach out and we can walk through the upgrade.
With one click, you can now see wetland data that can completely change how a parcel should be priced, evaluated, and marketed. Wetlands are often invisible on satellite imagery and easy to miss early. This layer makes them obvious instantly.
What you can see
• Exact wetland boundaries
• Wetland types, such as freshwater forested shrub or freshwater pond
• Areas that may impact access, usability, and buildability
Why land investors should care
Wetlands can quietly kill a deal if you find them too late. This layer helps you catch issues early, before you price, offer, or market a property.
• Buildability clarity
Wetlands often come with permits, setbacks, and restrictions that limit what can actually be built.
• More accurate pricing
If the usable land is smaller than it looks, the value changes fast. Now you know upfront.
• Fewer surprises
Wet areas are not always obvious on the ground. This gives you a heads up before problems surface.
• Stronger seller and buyer conversations
You can clearly explain access, limitations, and valuation with confidence.
• Fast deal screening
Quickly identify higher risk parcels and avoid wasting time on deals that will not pencil.
This is just the beginning. More map upgrades are already on the way, and we will keep you posted as they roll out.
If you want help upgrading your plan or using the wetlands layer in your workflow, feel free to reach out.
