Big Improvements to the Shapes Tool in Zamplo

We just rolled out several updates to the Shapes feature in Zamplo, and I wanted to share a quick overview of what’s new and how it can help you get more targeted and organized with your data pulls.

Why Shapes Matter
Shapes and polygons let you zero in on very specific geographic areas instead of pulling an entire county. This helps you:

• Control list size and mailing volume

• Get more accurate pricing by focusing on similar pockets within a market

• Stay organized and avoid re-mailing the same areas unintentionally

What’s New
Here are the key enhancements we’ve added:

• Group Shapes Together
  You can now group multiple shapes into a single campaign, making it easy to load everything at once when working in a specific county or area.

• Built-In Measuring Tools
  When drawing a shape, you’ll now see distance measurements and total acreage. This can be helpful for evaluating road frontage, parcel depth, or even visualizing potential subdivisions.

• Recover Unsaved Shapes
  Forgot to save a shape after exporting? No problem. Unsaved shapes will remain on the map until you remove them, so you can go back and save them later.

• Notes on Shapes
  Each shape now includes a notes section. This is great for tracking campaign performance, due diligence details, or anything else you want to remember about that area.

• More Creative Use Cases
  Some users are grouping shapes for past purchases or deals under review, creating an easy way to jump back to those locations and keep everything documented in one place.
